A Seminary Alternative with a Seminary Curriculum
It is with immense pleasure that we introduce to those who have been called to ministerial ordination and or pastoral appointment, the Ministers In Training Institute, (MITI). MITI embodies a series of course studies that are both supplemental to accredited seminaries, as well as foundational for those who choose a seminary alternative that prepares them for ordained ministry and or Pastoral appointment.
Anchored by a staff of instructors who include not only accredited Masters and Doctorate level Degrees in Ministry, along with seasoned Business Professionals, as well as those with years of clergy/pastoral experience, our purpose is to prepare candidates for ordination and or pastoral appointment. In order to do this, each instructor will teach, engage, nurture as well as endeavor to engender the gifts and graces of each student to prepare them for Christian service.
MITI is much more detailed than taking biblical courses. MITI is about preparing candidates for ordained ministry to become not only well-equipped servants of God, but also individuals that are competent to lead in God’s Church. Through the means of personal-evaluations, dialogues regarding Christian social justice, theology, ethics, technical acuity, along with various developmental pedagogies, each student will be well-versed not only in their personal callings, but will be able to function in ministry with proficiency and excellence. In addition, MITI will cater to those who have high-school diplomas to those who have achieved terminal degrees.
