Mission Statement:
The Mission of Ministers In Training Institute (MITI) is to prepare candidates for ordination and or Pastoral Appointment. Through theological study, critical analysis of scripture, Ethical and Leadership pedagogy, MITI will equip individuals with skills necessary to be proficient in their called field of Ministry.
Goals:
The goals of MITI are as follows:

Provide candidates for both ordained and Pastoral ministry sound Theological instruction

Teach the application of Scripture in a way that is historically and hermeneutically accurate, as well as contemporarily relevant

Help candidates recognize their embedded theologies in order to confirm and or alter their theological positions

Teach candidates/students various leadership styles and help them learn new skills and tactics that will increase their leadership abilities

Help individuals to both articulate and affirm their giftedness in order that they may engage in purpose-filled ministry

Instill within each student a Christ-like ethic of community and sociocultural involvement in order that they will effectively serve God wherever they are called

Prepare candidates for Pastoral vocations

Provide an advanced level of Biblical analysis, critical understanding, and clergy efficiency
